Correct Answer: Let Harry’s age four years ago was ‘x’ years.
Based on the condition given in the question, the following presents the corresponding ages of Harry and Dexter in their respective time frames.
Four years ago Harry: x
Present: Dexter: 4x and Harry: x+4
After eleven years, Harry: x+15
∴4x=x+15
∴3x=15
∴x=5
The sum of the present ages of Harry and Dexter is 5x+4=(5×5)+4=29 years.
